Dennis offers quality guitar instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Dennis has a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts and is comfortable teaching a variety of styles. Dennis has been teaching privately for many years and has also taught at Plateau Music (Issaquah, WA). In addition, Dennis has presented jazz guitar clinics. Private lessons can be at Dennis' home in Tigard or at the student's home in the Portland area.  
   Dennis offers highly professional and organized instruction. He takes in to account each students' interests and abilities. From that, Dennis creates an individualized lesson plan to help each student achieve his or her goals.
   Dennis has studied with guitarists John Stowell, Dave Peterson, Doug Zangar and Mark Oi. He has also taken private lessons from pianist Dawn Clement and bassist Chuck Deardorf. This private instruction, along with the formal music education he received at Cornish College of the Arts, has given Dennis a broad base of knowledge to draw from. Dennis incorporates the best elements of each teaching style into his own style.
